Getting Started Series: Using Quicksend to Send Email Follow
After you identify listing matches for a contact, you can easily email them to potential buyers using Quicksend. Quicksend allows for images and document attachments as well, and currently supports sending to up to 20 recipients.
Getting Started
Quicksend is currently available on the Contact and Listing object. To access Quicksend, open any Contact or Listing record and click the Email tab.
Primary Features
Out of the box, Quicksend includes templates, merge fields, the ability to insert inline listings and the ability to attach PDF listings and files. These features are available in the lower left-hand corner of Quicksend. They are (from left to right) Templates, Merge Fields, Insert Listings, Attach Files or Listing PDFs and Save as Template.
Templates
Templates will tremendously lower the amount of time spent drafting emails, by allowing you to automatically generate personalized, predefined messaging for each send. You can also sort templates using the templates collection screen. Click here to learn more about template collections.
Merge Fields
Merge Fields allow you to quickly and easily personalize your email messages - even while sending to multiple recipients.
Insert Listings
A powerful feature of Quicksend is the ability to insert one or multiple listings into your email. These listings live inside your email and do not require the recipient to open a separate attachment to view. Listings must be active to send through Quicksend.
Attach Files or Listing PDFs
Attached listings are sent as PDF attachments to your email message. This keeps the body of your email uncluttered and allows your recipient to download and/or print them as a PDF document. You can also attach other files and media using this feature.
Save as Template
You can save any message as a new template, by clicking the far right “save icon” in the lower left corner.
Send Options
After you have drafted your message, Quicksend offers a couple of options for selecting layout, previewing and debugging your message. These features are available in the lower right-hand corner of Quicksend. They are (from left to right) Layouts, Preview and Errors.
Layouts
Layouts determine the look, feel and structure of your emails. Click the layout icon to choose between between available layouts.
Preview
Use preview to view your message as a final proof before sending.
Errors
Sometimes when drafting messages in Quicksend, errors are made. You will be notified of any errors here.
