How to Add your Company Logo to your PDF Templates Follow
From within the Listing Manager, Matching or from a listing, you can print out a PDF document that can summarize multiple listings or present a single listing. You can use this document as a flyer, or to send to a prospective buyer or tenant. We also call it the Listing PDF Expose. It's easy to customize the look of this document with your company's logo. This process must be done by your Propertybase administrator. The logo you will want to use can be stored in the Documents tab or on your website's server (anywhere it is publicly accessible). Here we will explain how to upload it to Propertybase, so you can instantly replace and use it in the templates.
To find the Documents object, switch to Salesforce Classic
So to start, let's switch to classic view.
- Click on your portrait at the top of the screen.
- Click Switch to Salesforce Classic.
There, find "Documents" in the tabs or click on the "+" and find it in the overview.
From the documents screen click on the new button
On the next screen you need to specify the file name and the folder to upload it.
File Name example: Company Logo
Folder Name: Propertybase
Document Types: You can upload PNG, GIF or JPEG Images
Remember to click on save after you upload your image and you are done!
Now your file is ready for use through out Propertybase, e.g. in PDF and Email Templates.
To add it to your PDF templates, right-click on the image you just uploaded and either open it in a new tab or select "Copy Image Location" to get hold of the image's URL. You will need the image URL in the next step.
Switch back to Lightning and
- Go to "PB Templates" in AppLauncher or "Email Templates" in Control Center
- Find a template called "PDF Logo"
- Replace the URL within the quotation marks as seen here with the one you copied after uploading your logo (note: it is correct and normal that the logo URL placed in Documents has no file extension):
Save the change made to this template and you're ready to generate PDF with your logo on it.
