How to Authenticate your Email Domain Follow
What is email deliverability?
Authenticating your email domain means implementing measures to verify that emails sent from your domain by Propertybase Salesforce Edition are legitimate and not forged or tampered with. It helps establish trust and ensures that your email messages are more likely to be delivered to recipients' inboxes instead of being marked as spam or rejected.
Propertybase uses two technologies to send out emails. We have a step for each one below and you must follow both.
First Step: For Quicksend, Mass emails, and Drip Campaigns we use a service from SendGrid.
- Please submit a support ticket and let us know your domain(s) from which you send emails.
- We will then send you the required keys that your domain admin needs to add. If you're unsure how this works, it is documented here: How to Set Up Domain Authentication
Second Step: For email alerts, email notifications, etc. the system uses the Salesforce email technology.
If you notice you are not receiving emails from Salesforce e.g email alerts or notifications about a changed record owner this could be why
Your Propertybase/Salesforce administrator needs to follow all steps (besides "Enabling Compliance BCC Emails") of the documentation: Improve Deliverability of Emails Sent from Salesforce
WHAT IF I HAVE MULTIPLE DOMAINS?
You must activate the settings for EVERY domain your users are sending emails from; you must do it for each one.
