Common Error Messages - Realestate.com.au & other Real Estate Portals

Here are some of the common Listing errors you may come across.

PayPerListing: Pay per listing, subscription does not allow free listing for category
If a PayPerListing error is received it is because your REA subscription does not include a subscription for bulk uploading and you will need to Contact REA and change your subscription. If your subscription does not include "New" properties and you try to push a "House and Land" listing to REA, you will receive this error message.
Street: You already have an active listing with the same address. To get more exposure and enquiries, you can upgrade your listing

Error is self explanatory.

Suburb: This listing requires a valid, state and/or postcode.

Check State and Postcode on Listing Record. Ensure the client is using the Propertybase / Australian Packaged fields on the listing and not any custom fields.

Images.img.attachment: Image "m" was not available. Please remove this image from your bulk uploader and re-feed

No images were attached to the listing. Add an image and include it in the portal feeds.

Images.img.attachment: Image "d" was not available. Please remove this image from your bulk uploader and re-feed

One of the images have not been fed through to REA correctly. We recommend you remove the images from the portal in the Image manager, wait 10 minutes and reattach them.

Category: Existing Residential listing cannot be transferred to New Homes for Sale category

Listing is listed on REA as a "New" home and now the client it trying to push it as a second hand property. Contact REA to resolve this or push it as a new home.

Category: the value of category is invalid

Property Type is either empty or not valid. See valid list below from REA

http://reaxml.realestate.com.au/docs/reaxml1-xml-format.html#category

Bedrooms: no value for bedrooms

Add bedrooms to the listing. Ensure the client is using the Propertybase / Australian Packaged fields on the listing and not any custom fields.

If the listing is a Land/Development site and does not have Bedroom then the listing record type will need to be changed to Residential Land.

Bathrooms: no value for bathrooms

Add bathrooms to the listing. Ensure the client is using the Propertybase / Australian Packaged fields on the listing and not any custom fields.

If the listing is a Land/Development site and does not have Bathrooms then the listing record type will need to be changed to Residential Land.

SoldDate: It is not possible to update the Sold information once a listing is marked as Sold

This only occurs if the sold date on the listing in Propertybase is changed after the listing has been fed through to REA. The listing will remain as Sold on REA and no further details will be updated. We recommend removing this listing from REA as it is now sold.

InspectionTimes.inspections: Inspection start time is later than the end time

Check inspection times on the related list on the listing.

Common Error Messages - Domain/Commercial Real Estate ("CRE")

On your Listing record there should be a 'Search from' and 'Search to' field on the Listing. Please note, these numbers need to be within 10% of each other - otherwise Domain will ignore the Portal feed update.

Commercial Feeds: This Portal only supports 2 ad types: "For Sale" or "For Lease."  The Record Type "For Sale/Lease" is not supported.
